ElParedon 30 May 2008 May 29, 2008 BEIT HANUN, (PIC)-- IOF troops mounting armored vehicles withdrew from northern Gaza Strip on Thursday after bulldozing cultivated lands and kidnapping scores of young men. Local sources reported that the soldiers advanced into east of Beit Hanun amidst intensified firing while escorting two huge bulldozers that wreaked havoc in farmers' lands. They said that the soldiers rounded up tens of young men including a photojournalist and took them to an unknown destination. In another development, a Palestinian civilian succumbed to his critical wound early Thursday that was sustained in an IOF shelling on Wednesday east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip. Medical sources said that Ahmed Al-Amor, 24, died of his serious injury that was suffered while attempting to rescue two Palestinian fighters who were targeted and killed by an IOF missile raid. Meanwhile, a Palestinian newly born baby died late Wednesday due to lack of proper medication for her condition, medical sources said. They said that Saja Al-Farra died only two days after her sisters Faiza and Sujud died after one week of birth in Khan Younis city. The number of victims of the Israeli imposed siege thus rose to 170 as many other seriously ill patients are threatened with a similar fate.
