BEIT HANUN, (PIC)-- IOF troops mounting armored vehicles withdrew from
northern Gaza Strip on Thursday after bulldozing cultivated lands and
kidnapping scores of young men.

Local sources reported that the soldiers advanced into east of Beit
Hanun amidst intensified firing while escorting two huge bulldozers that
wreaked havoc in farmers' lands.

They said that the soldiers rounded up tens of young men including a
photojournalist and took them to an unknown destination.

In another development, a Palestinian civilian succumbed to his
critical wound early Thursday that was sustained in an IOF shelling on
Wednesday east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that Ahmed Al-Amor, 24, died of his serious
injury that was suffered while attempting to rescue two Palestinian fighters
who were targeted and killed by an IOF missile raid.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian newly born baby died late Wednesday due to
lack of proper medication for her condition, medical sources said.

They said that Saja Al-Farra died only two days after her sisters
Faiza and Sujud died after one week of birth in Khan Younis city.

The number of victims of the Israeli imposed siege thus rose to 170 as
many other seriously ill patients are threatened with a similar fate.
